All high-definition, looks gorgeous on a 52" plasma, and can be played with zero slowdown or skipping, at full resolution, on my dad's fairly terrible $800 laptop.

They had the full DVDs leaked at a community I go to, but I didn't have a DVD burner, and am too lazy to install Daemon Tools and PowerDVD on this computer. Plus, I could download them one at a time and watch them--you can see I'm on Episode 10 now.

I've got my Tuesdays With Morrie projects due tomorrow, so I need to finish that. Damn.

I'm sick of myself. Honestly, this is the laziest I've been in my entire life. It's annoying the hell out of me, and I don't know how to get out of it. I can definitely pass all of my classes, but I have a feeling my grades aren't going to be so hot.

Atreyu - Deathgrip on Yesterday (New Atreyu CD, came out a week or two ago, didn't notice until today. Got really excited, but it sucks. The band has toned EVERYTHING down, and the lead singer apparently thought it'd be a good idea to stop screaming and sing more. Not to sound all indie-ftw, but fucking mainstream music...)

Atreyu - Visions (I wanted some GOOD new Atreyu music, and hadn't gotten around to getting this. Got it, I love the instrumental, the lead singer is terrible though.)

Bleeding Through - The Truth (The only good CD I got. I'm impressed with them. I hated them the first time around, but after listening to the songs a few times...I like them. Plus, the album cover just looks damn cool.)

Lucky Number Slevin is probably the most slick (slickest?) movie I've ever seen in my life. Jesus, hilarious+insanely entertaining...I don't care what the critics said, I enjoyed it terribly.

12:08am: Just barely made my curfew.

Basically, all I did tonight was watch people smoke/drink and listen to a throbbing bass beat.

And talk about computers.

But in all seriousness, I had a fun time. Didn't smoke/drink (Don't smoke/drink around Jimmy, he doesn't do it plus I don't know everyone too well yet...maybe in a month or two) but I had fun..two guys came over and took over this guy named John's (who's cool as hell, but all he does is smoke weed...I like the smell and all, but seriously, every hour he has to smoke) turntable (use a cd, not vinyl) and played techno all night. Amazing sound, this guy who I have no idea who he is started going off on it, he's fucking amazing. Once I get a copy of the CD they made I'll put some samples up from the entire cut.

I hated Underoath until I listened to their latest CD...which is really old. Now my third favorite band, below Atreyu and Refused.

I left right after 2nd hour. The second the bell rang, I went to the checkout-lady (who is a cunt, but I understand..she has to be, bunch of fucking kids trying to skip school WITHOUT parental permission, which i had thank you very much) who gave me a bit of grief but I called my mom and she said I could go home. I went to the bathroom during Psych and called my mom, made sure it was okay..just to be sure :D

I heard all through first hour that absences didn't count today..if they do, I don't care. It's only my 5th day missed...I just won't miss any more school.

I love this new harddrive. Not sure if my old one just couldn't keep up with copying all of the data that fast (seriously doubtful) or me formatting caused this insane boost in bandwidth, but I'm happy.

Normally I'm around there, but on the better servers (nvidia, ati, microsoft, big companies) I usually get around 700-800Kbps.

7:31pm: My sister is insane.

I'm not even kidding. Don't laugh at a single thing in this post. I'm on the verge of fucking screaming in her face that she is worthless.

I guess it went something like this: Paige did something to piss my dad off, AS USUAL...because she's a stupid bitch. She likes pushing his buttons, I don't know why...maybe she feels superior or something, don't ask me. He took away her cell phone.

She decides to FLIP OUT. She starts screaming at the top of her lungs, saying "THAT CELL PHONE IS MY LIFE! IF I DON'T HAVE MY CELL PHONE I CAN'T LIVE!", while saying assorted suicide threats that meant nothing to me, because I don't deal with bullshit, and I honestly could give a shit less about empty threats. Apparently, she thinks she has to prove it to us, so she runs into the kitchen, and grabs a knife. My mom starts screaming her head off, and takes the knife from her. Before my mom took her into her room (I think.. I had left the room by then, sitting where I am now) she screams "YOU NEED TO GO TO A DOCTOR! YOU'RE SICK...BOTH OF YOU"..which is totally untrue of my dad. Honestly, I admire him so much for putting up with all of Paige's bullshit. Every time I hear some girl talk about how she hates her parents and she wishes she could move away at school makes me think of how spoiled as fucking hell they are. Their parents raised them...regardless of how they think. They paid for their food since they were BORN. Without their parents, they would be dead. Now if their dad raped them or something, I would completely understand...but when they decide that they want to LEAVE THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY because they can't go to the movies with their boyfriend who is 5 years older than them, or that their dad takes away their god-damn cellphone because they backtalked him...is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

This drama shit is tiring me out. She needs to go to a goddamn mental home.

I'm not even kidding either. I think she's one of the few people who genuinely need mental help.

Laptops are really useful. I've been using my dad's ever since he got it. Not a great computer, but does the basic stuff very quickly.

I'm building another computer, and I'm on my way towards it. Yesterday I ordered a new hard drive. Just a 250gig, but it's SATA 3.0 (aka SATA II) which is double the transfer rate of SATA I. Of course, I won't be able to take advantage of SATA 3.0GB/sec transfer rate until I get my total new computer set up. Right now, it should be in the neighborhood of 1300, without monitor and all that good stuff; just the tower. But, I should be safe for a year or two upgrade-wise.

I figured out why my car rattles when I have my subwoofer up loud. My license plate and my radio antenna. Not so much the antenna as the license plate. I held that in place, and smooth bass could be heard outside. A friend suggested duct taping the corners..wow. No. I like it not to rattle, but I won't have gigantic strips of duct tape on the back of my car.

Still haven't touched the bass boost...I think I'll mess with that this weekend.

9:44pm: Everything that we know is up for sale!
Kind of tired, probably going to go to bed early tonight.

Yesterday, school was completely normal, and not unpredictable whatsoever. Incredibly boring.

Jimmy called me about 6 and we went to Abuelo's. Best fucking mexican food I've ever eaten. Had some weird mexican potato...wait god damn it...not potato casserole I don't think...hmmmmm..it was good anyway. I had that, refried beans(required), and an amazing beef quesadilla. A bit pricey (17 bucks + 3 bucks tip=no more money) but well worth it. When we went in we had to wait 30 minutes, it was packed..this was about 7. When we left, it was empty except for us and two other groups...we left about 10:30. :lol: Time flies, I guess.

We went back to my house, to pick some work stuff up, since I go to his house for a ride to work every weekend-day...and figured I'd just stay the night. Some niggers decided to TP our house, so we had to clean it up. They also forked the yard, albeit shittily. Took us a total of about 5-10 minutes to clean up, but there was a lot of shit. Then we went into how we would punish the kids if we had caught them...Jimmy said he'd probably take them to a graveyard (while coldly staring forward the entire drive), make them dig up a grave, make them go into a coffin with a recently deceased person, he would close the coffin, and throw a little bit of dirt on top of the coffin to get them scared. Then he'd just leave. He wouldn't be able to be arrested for anything..really smart, plus the kid would probably flip out every time he saw a roll of toilet paper.

Today, work was interesting. Normally, I work really hard. And I did today. Buuut...me and Jimmy were kind of paired up all day, and ALL we did was fuck everything up. The first thing we did was put a bunch of cages together for birds (Mr. Smith wants to move the birds, there are gigantic rat holes everywhere, and these rats are fucking BIG...like large cat big..not exaggerating(sp?) whatsoever...O_O). We put the gates up, but we put the gates on the right side of each fence...they were supposed to be on the left. We took about 2 hours to put the cages up (these aren't small cages, either...it was hard work), then it took about 30 minutes to rearrange the gates back in order.

After this, we went to lunch (Maria's, another EXCELLENT mexican restaurant...not the one by Blockbuster, the last time I went there was about 2 or 3 years ago, and me and my mom were disgusted.) and came back. We moved a bunch of big ass logs (chopped down trees, not like little fireplace logs) then we had to take these cattle panels, and attach two of them together. They have to be perfect for Mr. Smith, which I understand..he's paying us to do this. We used zipties to connect them, and they had to be 4 squares down...kind of hard to explain, but we fucked it up 3 times in a row, and ended the day with a conversation like this:

Me-"These look right, let's put it up"
Jimmy-"Yeah, haha."
:we set it up with the cages, Mr. Smith starts ziptying(ie or y?) the cattle panels to the cages:
Mr. Smith-"Good job guys...after we finish putting this up, we'll be done."

We ended up just laying the screwed up one down and leaving, because it was 4, and that's the latest Mr. Smith wants us to work out there.

Jesus christ, what a day, huh.

Tomorrow I'm working as well...here's to hoping I don't fuck up again.

6:33pm: Ranting and raving time.
Well, I'm semi-mad about a situation that happened this weekend. I knew that this person was like this, but I fully realized it this weekend.

Do I not sound knowledgeable about certain things? I know quite a bit about computers (not trying to brag, but I do...my entire 9th grade summer was spent on studying/learning about them. I had to learn, to build my computer especially, and also out of internet) so I know it can't be me not knowing it, but possibly appearing not to?

I can't really phrase it well without naming the person. Hmmm....

Okay. I have given computer advice to this person plenty of times, and they never listened...they "didn't think it was a good idea" or "they found something better". Then, Jimmy was talking to this person....and he said EXACTLY what I said to the person....AND HE AGREED! WHAT THE FUCK?! Is it some sort of "i might feel dumber and less than Matt if i agree with him" complex or something? God fucking damn it, come on. Shit like that just pisses me off to no end...people who can't just give up and say "you got me, i was wrong, you were right". I'll admit, sometimes I hate being wrong, and quite a few times I don't admit it...but for the most part I admit it. GRAARRJAKGJRJGKARJGKAJKGJRKAJGRQA

On a better note, I got upgraded to 7 dollars an hour at Mr. Smiths. It's really fun work, along with being outside, and getting a workout makes it a great job.

I'm getting a new computer. My inner nerd drives me to it. I'll be getting another job (just during the week...I'm not getting rid of my weekend job) to pay for it, because working 1-2 days max a week means I'll never make it for July...Right now, it's about $1500, without a monitor. I'll be buying a friend's GIGANTIC 21" monitor, and taking the 17" LCD I'm on right now. I like LCDs more, clearer picture.

I can't fucking wait....for Dallas, for the computer, for a bunch of things..:D

11:15pm: I just want someone to walk in front...and I'll follow the leader....
I just read 150 pages in Malcolm X, wrote a summary on it, and "investigated" about the weird-as-hell "Mother Plane" that the NoI apparently launched in 1929. Look it up, it's seriously weird stuff.

I'm really fucking tired, but I've still got AP Psych (vocab and reading questions), Chemistry questions (probably do during C++) and Algebra II (will probably end up not doing).

If this is how the homework is going to be the rest of the year, I'm not going with a weekday job. I'm seriously pissed off as fucking hell right now, I can't deal with all this shit homework. Main problem was the reading, which I put off until the last minute; I actually LOVE the book so far, so that's not the problem. It's the amount Ms. James is piling and piling higher. I wish she'd actually teach us some stuff every day instead of giving us work and throwing shit on the overhead 1 out of 5 days of the week.

AP Psych is probably the only class I have complaints about this year, and I was actually excited about it when I signed up for it. APLAC is hard, but it's fun, and I love my teacher.

I'm so emo, listening to Bright Eyes. I should go carve "i hurt alot lol" in my wrists and wear tight pants.

I've been depraved of music. I've been listening almost exclusively to rap in my car recently...that'll change now. I listened to Refused's The Shape of Punk To Come (the album dummy!) and fell in love again...jesus. This weekend I'm going to take pictures of my sub. I promise. 5:08pm: OMGZ
I guess I have to do this weird thing thing...

1.I have bouts of cleaning. If I want my room to be clean, it will be. Most of the time it looks like shit, but is very comfortable for me.
2.I have times when everything NEEDS to be perfect...like at school, sometimes my paper has to be perfectly straight, with my pencil perfectly parallel to it, etc.
3.I'm cheap, so I always look around online for the best deal. Sometimes I go with the cheapest price even when the website looks really shaky.
4.Whenever I laugh at a joke and it reminds me of a time before then, I usually end up laughing at that event. It's hard to explain...I reminisce I suppose, in my mind, about funny times if I'm reminded of them...no matter where I am.
5.If I sit down to watch a movie, I have to watch it all the way through. The ONLY reason I ever get up is to use the bathroom. There are no distractions; I lock my door, turn up my stereo (I have it for the sound, sounds beautiful...only 4 speakers though) and lay on my loveseat (stfu that's what it's called) with popcorn and 1 or 2 sodas.

Instead of a gigantic write-up ending with me ranting on about annoyances, I'll just list some unique things I did today:

Things I did today: A List, By JMH (aka James Matthew Holland, author of "Why Babies Should Be Suffocated Directly After Birth" and "Slide It In: The Anatomy of A Dog"
1.Worked At Mr. Smith's (the ex(?) art teacher at Elmwood) house with Jimmy, Anthony, and a guy named Taylor. It's now my weekend job, I get paid 6 bucks an hour...AND NO DRUG OR ALCOHOL TESTING!
2.Saw a testicle the size of a golfball, maybe closer to a baseball.
3.Saw a scrotum with only one testicle in it.
4.Almost had my ears cave in when Anthony turned his two Kicker 12s up that were directly behind my head.
5.Turned my sub's volume up (yay..now I just need to distort it an assload with Bass Boost and I'll be vibrating the neighborhood.)
6.Worked for the first time
6.Worked 5 hours and actually enjoyed it.

I saw Hostel yesterday. It was meh. Definitely not what I was expecting(A bit disappointed...hoping for something around Ichi/Audition level gore, nothing like it) Some more squeamish people will be freaking out, as Eric was, but otherwise it's a fairly boring movie. And the end actually works out for the better, which is fucking retarded.
